The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the recruitment for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination II 2024. A total of 459 vacancies are available across various academies
- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 posts
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 32 posts
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 posts
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai (SSC Men): 276 posts
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai (SSC Women): 19 posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- IMA and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
- Air Force Academy: Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
- Age Limits:
- IMA and Indian Naval Academy: Born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2006.
- Air Force Academy**: Born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2005. Upper age limit relaxable to 26 years for those holding valid Commercial Pilot Licenses.
- Officers’ Training Academy**: Born between 2nd July 2000 and 1st July 2006 for SSC Men. For SSC Women (unmarried, issueless widows, and divorcees), the same age criteria apply.
Application Process
1. Visit the [UPSC Online Application](https://upsconline.nic.in/upsc/OTRP/) portal.
2. Fill out the application form with the required details.
3. Upload necessary documents (photo, signature, marksheets).
4. Pay the application fee (Rs. 200/- for general candidates; exempted for female, SC/ST candidates).
5. Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference.
